Hi, my name is Teresa and I've been highly intuitive since birth. I have a deep love and compassion for animals and have been talking with them since I was very small. I did not really understand what was going on growing up and I didn't understand how I "just knew" things about animals and about people. I developed interest in animal communication years ago, but did not fully immerse myself until I called a professional animal communicator after I lost my precious baby Cocoa, an Am-Staff, to Hemangiosarcoma, which is a truly horrible, aggressive and fast growing form of cancer that resides in the lining of blood vessels, almost exclusively in dogs. The prognosis even with treatment is extremely poor. I took her to all the specialists, consulted with a well-known and very knowledgeable Holistic Veterinarian, and nothing could stop it or save her. I wanted to do the surgery, but because Cocoa's heart was the location, and she also had what appeared to be an aneurysm on her heart, the surgeon wouldn't do the surgery, as it was likely that the aneurysm would be disturbed and that would be game over all in itself. Learn more about Hemangiosarcoma and please consider donating to one or either of these important research entities here: wearethecure.org/learn-more-about-canince-cancer/canine-cancer-library/hemangiosarcoma/
or: www.csuanimalcancercenter.org/ It seemed to come basically out of nowhere, and I was absolutely devastated. I expressed interest in learning to do what she did towards the end of the consultation, and the communicator, named Mary, told me that I am already "so in-tune". Cocoa herself said that "you already know how to do this!" Apparently I had been doing it all along! Despite all of this, due to my overly analytical mind, I wanted to learn all I could. So, I read many books by authors like Carol Gurney, Penelope Smith, and Marta Williams, and a book to help me personally called 'The Reluctant Empath'. I did attend workshops with Mary Getten, the well respected professional animal communicator that I had a consultation with about Cocoa. I have completed several case studies, and now, here I am! I am a Colorado Native, and still reside in Northern Colorado with my own fur babies and a turtle.
Telepathy is a universal language. We all are connected, and are all capable of doing this. While some people may be born with this ability a bit more fine tuned than others, we are all capable of doing this! Animals are masters at using this form of communication, and they use this with each other and us all the time (whether or not we are aware of it). My primary objective is to communicate accurately the messages that I get from animals. In so doing, I will tell you whatever I get from them. Sometimes things don't make sense right away, or might not be what you are expecting or wanting to hear, but I will deliver the messages because I feel that is my job. I will also lovingly deliver your messages to your beloved animals. Please be open minded and keep an open heart. This form of communication is not always 100% accurate, and there is an amount of interpretation that comes in to play sometimes. My goal is to accurately (with the help of animals) deliver their messages to us, and vice versa in the hopes of facilitating more harmony and understanding between us all. This will hopefully create a better world for animals!
A little about my interest in symbolism....
As a Humanities major, I have really become accustomed to reading more in to things, and developed an interest in symbolism. I chose the picture on the Home page because of the rainbow and tree. The rainbow, which is also the color of my aura, has always been my favorite. I also love trees, and they have very interesting symbolism throughout many cultures. This tree reminded me of the Tree of Life, and our connection to each other. As for the name Iris Heart, I chose this for a variety of reasons. The Iris is my favorite flower, and in Greek Mythology, Iris is the Goddess of the rainbow, and a messenger between the heavenly and earthly realms. Also, a green heart because green is the color of our heart chakras, and mine is quite active! So, when the logo is completed by the local artist, it will encompass the iris, rainbow, and heart.
